How much do you cost?
There are so many variables when it comes to an event. Our price depends on a number of things, fundamentally the length, location and the size of the event. However, more and more people want something special, and we offer a number of different solutions which we can both tailor to your budget, but also ensuring you get what you most wanted. The best way for us to provide an accurate price is to contact us today to discuss your requirements.
Just Smile has a first-class reputation, we have worked hard to ensure we deliver quality at a good price. Although we are not the cheapest, we are also not the most expensive. Generally if you are scouting around for the lowest price we often wont be able to compete. It’s the old adage “you get what you pay for”.
With over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry, Just Smile ensure all our staff are vetted and evaluated to offer clients a well presented, polite, professional DJ at a good value price.
What music do you play?
We carry a varied music library of around 30,000 tracks which includes all of the essential party songs, latest releases and a wide collection which covers off the past 50 years in music. We use an online event planning system which you will receive your own login and are able to create a playlist of must play, play if possible and do not play tracks to ensure your event is tailored to your tastes. That said, our DJ’s are all competent and experienced and are on hand prior to your event to plan your playlist, but many people are also happy to rely on the knowledge of our experienced team to keep the dancefloor busy on the night.
How far do you travel?
We are based in Watford, Hertfordshire and we cover most of South East England. Using the M1, M25 and the many motorways we are ideally positioned to cover events right across London and the home counties. Although, we make regular appearances as far away as Cardiff in Wales and Minehead in Somerset. We’re happy to travel for customers who know what they want!
When I’ve decided to book you, what happens next?
We would just need your contact details (address & phone number) and the details of your event. Then we’d issue a contract via email for the services / package which you are booking, this document will have event times, set up times and fees, so please check it carefully. Then you just simply digitally sign it online and pay your deposit and you are booked! At the same time you will receive a login for the event planning system and details on paying the final balance.
We have bookings in the diary up to 18 months in advance, some of our regular customers are keen to ensure they reserve their favourite DJ for their party. At Christmas bookings are often made in the early to mid part of the year, whilst in the Wedding season May-September, we can be taking bookings up to two years in advance. However, it doesn’t necessarily meant that every date is taken, but once you’ve made your decision, it’s advisable to let us know.
Can we see you perform?
We often get booked by recommendation or through someone who’s seen us at one of our events. From experience, it is not always possible to invite you along to see us perform. The vast majority of our events are private parties and celebrations and therefore it’s not appropriate for us to invite you along.
Will you beat another quotation?
Just Smile offer high-quality entertainment, with online planning facilities, smart professional presentation and high-grade equipment. We are not the average DJ you will find in the local pub (not that there is anything wrong with pub DJ’s, but the work does not justify the investment we have made into our business). And whilst we are not the cheapest, we would always be happy to compete on price where we are being compared to a DJ of similar quality.
DJ Equipment Hire
Whilst we are the winners of multiple awards for our DJ services, some clients are looking to dry hire DJ equipment for Weddings, Parties and events.
We offer all of our DJ Packages as a “Dry Hire” option. So take a look at our website, if you see a set up you like please give us a call. We would be happy to hire that equipment to you. You can either collect the equipment or have it delivered and set up for your Wedding, party or event.
Our DJ packages can also be customised by adding any of our stand-alone hire items. We are able to provide multiple console options whether you require just a mixer with laptop connection, CD players, CDJ’s or even a Midi controller.
