On Saturday we were booked to play at a Wedding at Moor Park Mansion which is the beautiful building at Moor Park Golf Club in Rickmansworth (not to be confused with the Fairway Inn just down the hill) the club house has some stunning architectural features and artwork. With huge stone pillars outside and pillars around the doors and alfresco ceilings, if you have never been it really is worth a trip! If you’ve not been invited to an event, or not a golfer, I’m sure they do teas, coffees and lunches etc. Otherwise they hold an annual Wedding Fair which is usually the last Sunday in January.
We were booked to provide our ‘Premier Package’ for a Wedding Disco, plus some uplighting in Yellow… the room is magnificent anyway, but with the addition of up-lighting it made it look even better. There were limited options available in terms of dimming the venue lighting, so it was certainly the right choice that Charley & Rory (Bride & Groom) booked some additional lighting for the room.
Whilst the 190 guests were not huge drinkers, they certainly knew how to party and we had a busy to full dance floor all night from straight after the first dance, all the way until the final song at midnight. I honestly can’t wait to go back to Moor Park, fortunately we have another two dates in the diary already to play at the venue.
