Radio Broadcaster Heart Hertfordshire approached Just Smile Ltd for a second year to provide the Awards Production, audio visual, sound and lighting for their Hertfordshire Hero Awards to be held on the 27th September 2019 at Pendley Manor in Tring, Hertfordshire.
The event was attended by local business leaders, well-known local figures and also the nominees and of course winners of the awards. Hosted by DJ John Darin, the awards included highlights of some of the most courageous and brave local people who had been recognised for their contribution to the local community.
Just Smile provided Awards Production including Staging & Set design, Sound & Lighting, Video including a number of screens around the room and cue system for the presenter. Just Smile also provided a DJ & Dance Floor for the after-awards element of the evening.

Watford/Bushey based event production and entertainment company, Just Smile Limited recently received recognition for their unfaltering & excellent service, which they have provided hundreds of customers since they began in 2009.
The company recently won ‘Business of the year’ (less than 50 employees) in the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards, which were held a few weeks ago at Hunton Park Hotel in Kings Langley. The whole team of 9 employees took to the stage to accept the award along with Managing Director David Rees.
In addition to the ‘Business of the year’ award, Just Smile Limited also scooped the runner up position in the ‘Best Enterprising Business’ category. Which highlighted the companies ability to diversify and grow.

Our Stage Lorry, Sound, Lighting & Power services were booked to provide a mini-festival for a private party featuring the band The Vaccines amongst other acts.
Our client required something suitable to deliver Sound for several acts, bands & singers which would deliver for a small audience of invited guests. We used our RCF HDL30 Line Array with RCF Subs & Wedges… along with our Allen & Heath GLD Mixing Desk to provide a system suitable for the event taking place.
In addition to sound, we added a lighting show, comprising of ADJ & Chauvet fixtures, being controlled on an Avolites Tiger Touch 2 console. There were some additional features from Prolight Concepts Group and some hazers, Co2 jets etc
We also provide site power with our 22KVA Pramac 3phase Generator which provided power for the Stage, Sound & Lighting, but also for a food truck nearby on site.
Our Stage Lorry with its 8m x 7m performance area provided a suitable platform for the acts & bands to perform, plus allowing us to rig the lighting and sound to create a show for the audience.

We provided Sound, Lighting and video for a special event organised by Watford Football Club. Fans were invited to attend and enjoy an evening remembering and celebrating the season of 98/99 where the team move up to the premier league. There were lots of memories and stories shared, with lots of fond thoughts given to the late Graham Taylor.
The Wembley 1999 Reunion Dinner was held at Shendish Manor in the Apsley Suite, which worked well for the 300+ guests to be close to the action, meet the heroes of the time and join together to remember the stories, characters and the special memories which made the 98/99 Season as successful for the club as it did.
We provided a full D&B Audiotechnik sound system with Sennheiser Microphones, some basic lighting, video distributed using our Decimator Design boxes and a Blackmagic switcher, onto screens around the room and our 3m x 2m 3.9mm pitch LED screen mounted at the front of the event. Plus a live roving video link which allowed our camera to roam the room and relay the images back to the screens.

We provided Wedding Production at The Savoy. With separate lighting at the Synagogue for the ceremony. Our production included a tiered stage with mirror trim, multiple steps and a white carpet & leatherette finish. We used 8 plinths to create a backdrop to the stage, with multiple moving heads lighting effects mounted on these. We also provided four truss towers around the room which allowed a further 8 moving lights to be mounted around the room. Uplighting, Pin-spotting and a large White Dance Floor finished off the look which tied in well to the aesthetics of the Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy.

We provided full awards production Hertfordshire for the Heart Local Hero Awards. We were commissioned by owner Communicorp who own Heart Radio to build a suitable set and provide stage, sound, lighting and video support for their Local Hero Awards to be hosted by Daniel Fox and John Darin who are the presenters on the radio station.
We were delighted to provide a bright red ‘Heart’ branded set with a red & white stage, white dance floor, D&B audiotechnik sound system, Plasma screens and lighting around the perimeter of the room. One of our award-winning DJ’s finished the night off by playing to the dancing crowd following the awards.

We provided the lighting for the lighting for the 2017 Essendon Country Club Winters Ball. Our Winter Ball Lighting included a hung truss lighting rig which was hung above the Dance Floor, Wireless Uplighting around the venue with some Chauvet Freedom Strips hung from the backdrop. The event was attended by nearly 300 guests, with live music provided by the house band ‘Roundabout Zoo’ and one of our excellent DJ team provided the soundtrack for the rest of the evening.
