Dance Floor Hire – FAQs

Do you have Insurance & PAT Certificates?

Yes – of course we do! We carry £5,000,000 (million) public liability insurance and our electric dance floors carry an annual PAT test.

They are an essential part of our business which we will happily supply documents to anyone who books one of our dance floors.
We also carry out Risk Assessments if required.

Will you negotiate on price?

We are very confident that our prices are extremely competitive (we’ll be surprised if you can beat our price). Although, we are happy to price match competitors who supply the same quality product and service as ourselves.

What area do we cover?

The short answer – Anywhere!

We are based in Hertfordshire but cover the south of England. Delivery costs will be calculated depending on the location. We provide FREE delivery for events taking place at local venues where we are the recommended supplier.

What power is required?

A single 13 amp plug point is the only requirement for the Starlit dance floors up to 24ft x 24ft. Where required we provide cable covers to prevent any wires laid across pathways.

Can the dance floor be laid outdoors?

Not outdoors, but yes in a Marquee for example is possible. It is best to contact us prior to booking. All of our dance floors are designed to be used both indoors and outdoors (marques, temporary structures, barns) but none of our floors are weather resistant.

How long does it take to install a dance floor?

A typical dance floor size of 4m x 4m (16ft x 16ft) takes up to an hour, dismantling can be done in 30 minutes.

Can the dance floor be laid in any shape or size?

The shape can be square, rectangle or catwalk style.

Being pure white is the surface slippery?

No, the dance floor surface is made from tough acrylic.

Can we supply a dance floor during the week (Monday – Friday)?

Yes of course we can! Whilst our offices are only open Monday to Friday, bookings and hires can take place 7 days a week.
