Full-Time Technician
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on Audio-Visual Hire, Sound & Lighting, Stage & Rigging for various events, including Conferences, Festivals, Parties, and Weddings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the live events industry and possess hands-on technical experience along with a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive vans and transport equipment to event locations.
- Set up and dismantle lighting and sound systems, including lighting desks, moving heads, and DMX programming.
- Assist in staging for both indoor and outdoor events, including basic carpentry and carpeting.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Interact professionally with clients, venues, and guests, maintaining a smart and presentable appearance.
Work Schedule:
- Minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required.
Experience & Skills Needed:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge in sound, lighting, and video systems.
- Organized, conscientious, and able to work collaboratively.
- A proactive “can do” attitude is crucial.
Knowledge & Systems:
- Proficiency in programming DMX, Avolites, and Chamsys.
- Experience with sound systems, particularly Allen & Heath and Yamaha.
- Familiarity with CAD software is beneficial.
Salary:
- Competitive salary to be negotiated based on experience.

Event Crew (Casual Staff / Part Time)
We are looking for event crew members to join our team. The type of work includes AV Hire, PA Hire, Dry Hire, Lighting, Stage & Rigging for Weddings, Parties, Conferences and events.Some of the items you would be expected to set up include:
- Lugging & shifting equipment
- Driving vans & delivering staging, dance floors & kit
- Lighting Desks / Moving Heads / DMX
- PA Systems, Projectors, Plasma Screens & Conference Aids
- DJ Equipment & Lighting
- Dance Floors & Decor
- Staging (indoor & outdoor) including carpeting
- PA Systems for concerts, outdoor events and indoor events
Duties
- Collection, delivery & setting up of equipment
- Transportation & moving of heavy items & equipment
- Smart, presentable & professional in your appearance and manner when dealing with the client, venue and their guests.
- Working times are 5 days a week on a shift basis, including unsociable hours
Experience & Skills (These are all MUST HAVE)
