David started life in events as a mobile DJ in 1993 and is passionate & driven to keep building upon Just Smile’s success. David has been a senior figure in local radio throughout the UK looking after programmes, marketing and events.

Marianne Owen
Financial Planning & Analysis
Marianne joined the company in 2020 and has a wealth of experience as a business analyst, finance, budgets and management. Marianne has also had experience with Just Smile, having worked for the business in the past and she is David’s sister.

Crispian Robinson
Production Manager
Crispian originally joined Just Smile in 2015 as a technician. He took time away from Just Smile to work in theatre, but re-joined the team as production manager, taking care of our client needs and running our technical team.

Luke Wells
Project Manager
Luke returns to Just Smile after a 14 year break where he worked for himself and others, following some time in the USA Luke rejoins our team as Project Manager and is working across events and systems within the business.

James Rowles
Service Technician
James joined in 2022 with lots of experience in theatre and computing. His skills help ensure our warehouse and equipment is well maintained and he also works on some of our events.

Kerrie Burns
Administration
Having joined the team at the end of 2022, Kerrie looks after our account customers, accounts and credit control. Kerrie is also part of the entertainment team and helps clients with the booking of DJs and acts.

Oliver Redbart
Technician
Oliver joined us in 2023 as our Junior Technician, he’s doing an Apprenticeship whilst with us. He has a passion for lighting and is very nifty with most lighting consoles, but especially our Avolites desks.

Miles Barnes
Warehouse Manager
Miles joined us in 2021 as a trainee technician, progressing to a junior technician. He’s undertaking an apprenticeship whilst with us. Having worked with us for two summers, he joined full time and is now responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse.

John Darin
Business Development
John has joined Just Smile in 2025 to help develop the business, through meeting new clients, networking and promoting the business services in non-traditional ways. John has a background in radio and is also a well-known event host & compere.

Holly Long
Marketing Assistant
Holly joined in 2025 on a Content Creator Apprenticeship and joins from previously working in the corporate events world. With a slight change in her focus from Corporate Events to the Marketing of Events business.

Louise Burgess
Bookings Coordinator
Louise joined Just Smile in 2025 as Bookings Coordinator focused on Entertainment Bookings. With a background in detail oriented customer service and bookings roles.

Monty Rees
Sound-Hound
Monty joined Just Smile in 2020 where he delights guests to the warehouse with a woof and lick. He’s a keen sound hound and loves music from all eras. He especially loves treats and cuddles, so if you’re visiting, please don’t forget to bring some.
