Wedding Production at One Marylebone

We were contacted by a couple getting married at One Marylebone to provide full sound and lighting production for their wedding. Our team first prepared the venue for the ceremony, installing white uplighting throughout the space along with custom motif gobo projections along the central walls of the venue (as shown in the images). The florist complemented the design beautifully with impressive 10ft trees lined with fairy lights along the aisle, completing the overall look.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed upstairs, where we provided a Bose sound system for background music and uplighting to create a warm, inviting ambience. The couple had also arranged white seating, which was placed throughout the space, with soft pink uplighting used to enhance the décor.

When guests returned downstairs, they were met with the full evening production. This included a white starlight DJ booth, illuminated plinths, pink uplighting throughout the venue, and dynamic beam lighting focused on the DJ and dance floor. The lighting scheme was carefully designed to reflect the couple’s vision and bring their ideas to life.

One Marylebone is a striking blank-canvas venue in the heart of London, located opposite Great Portland Street Underground station. Situated in Westminster, the venue is a former Anglican church built in 1828 by Sir John Soane. It is one of the historic “Waterloo churches,” constructed following an Act of Parliament in 1818 that allocated one million pounds to commemorate the defeat of Napoleon.

The building features an external pulpit facing Marylebone Road, a grand entrance with four large Ionic columns, and a lantern steeple similar to that of St Pancras New Church on Euston Road, adding to its architectural significance and dramatic presence.

We were delighted to provide full production at One Marylebone and look forward to returning to this exceptional venue again soon.
