Festival Audio Visual Production for Herts Pride 2025
In 2025, we were proud to provide festival audio visual production for Herts Pride, supporting both the community stage and main stage throughout the event. From professional sound systems and stage lighting to video control, radio communication and a highly experienced technical team, we provided a wide range of production services to help bring the event to life.
Herts Pride is a major celebration in the Hertfordshire events calendar, bringing the local community together for a day of live entertainment, performances and celebration. With multiple stages and a busy programme of entertainment, reliable festival production was essential to keep everything running smoothly and ensure performers and audiences had the best possible experience.
Community Stage Production
For the community stage, we supplied a 4.5m x 4m stage with a Gala tent roof, creating a dedicated covered performance area for the day’s entertainment.
Alongside the staging, our team provided the sound equipment required for the performances, including amplifiers, a professional mixer and multiple microphones. The setup was designed to provide clear and consistent audio throughout the performances while giving the technical team the flexibility needed to manage a varied programme.
As with any outdoor event, dependable equipment and experienced technicians are particularly important. Our team worked on-site throughout the event to ensure the audio equipment was operating effectively and that performers had the support they needed.
Main Stage Festival Production
The main stage featured a larger and more comprehensive audio visual production setup. We supplied an 8m x 4m stage with truss, creating a substantial performance area for the main programme.
The stage was finished using a combination of black serge and black starcloth drapes, creating a professional backdrop for performers while helping to give the stage a finished festival look.
Professional Festival Sound Production
Sound was a major part of the main stage setup. We supplied a powerful RCF HDL 26-A system featuring six tops and two RCF 9004-AS subs, providing the high-quality audio coverage required for a busy outdoor festival.
The production also included a range of additional audio equipment to support the performers and technical team. This included in-ear monitoring, a 48-channel microphone splitter and numerous microphones.
The microphone splitter was particularly useful for a multi-performer event, allowing signals to be managed effectively while providing flexibility for the wider production setup.
We also supplied a six-way radio communication kit with earpieces, allowing members of the event and production teams to communicate efficiently throughout the day. Clear communication between technicians and event staff is an important part of successful live event production, particularly when multiple areas of an event are operating simultaneously.
Festival Stage Lighting
As well as the sound production, we provided a comprehensive stage lighting setup.
The lighting package included moving head lights, haze machines, fog machines and a range of additional lighting fixtures, helping to create an engaging visual experience for the audience and performers.
Moving heads provided flexibility throughout the performances, while haze and fog effects helped enhance the lighting and create greater atmosphere on stage.
Lighting is an important part of modern festival audio visual production, not only illuminating performers but also helping to create the energy and atmosphere that audiences expect from a live event.
Video Control
Our involvement also extended to video control, adding another element to the overall AV production.
By bringing together audio, lighting and video under one production setup, we were able to support the different technical requirements of the event and create a more cohesive experience across the stages.
Combining these different elements is where experienced AV production really makes a difference. Every part of the technical setup needs to work together, from the sound system and microphones to the lighting and video equipment.
Experienced Festival Production Technicians
Behind all of the equipment was a team of talented and knowledgeable event production technicians who worked throughout Herts Pride 2025.
Large outdoor events require more than simply supplying equipment. Experienced technicians are essential for setting up, operating and monitoring the production throughout the event, responding to changes and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
Our technicians brought their knowledge and experience to the event, working across the different production areas to help ensure the stages ran smoothly throughout the day.
