Hertfordshire Festival Production
Herts Pride 2026 was a celebration of diversity, inclusivity and community, bringing people together from across Hertfordshire and beyond. As an LGBTQ+ owned company, Just Smile was proud to support the event not only as a production supplier, but also as one of the event sponsors.
For this year’s Pride celebration, our team provided professional festival production in Hertfordshire across the main stage, community stage and disabled viewing platform, helping to create a safe, accessible and memorable event for everyone attending.
Main Stage Festival Production
The centrepiece of Herts Pride 2026 was the main stage, where a packed programme of performances and entertainment took place throughout the event.
For the main stage, we supplied a 7m x 6m festival stage with roof, complete with steps and 1m wings. The stage provided a professional platform for performers while creating plenty of space for the production equipment required for a busy live event.
The audio system featured an RCF HDL26-A and 9004-AS system, comprising six tops and two subs. This provided powerful, clear and consistent sound coverage across the audience area. Multiple Sennheiser microphones were also supplied for performers, presenters and speakers throughout the day.
Lighting was another important part of this Hertfordshire festival production, with the stage featuring multiple moving head lights, front lighting and LED panels. A haze machine helped enhance the lighting effects, adding atmosphere and bringing the moving lights to life during performances.
Completing the main stage setup was a 1.5m x 3m LED screen, providing a clear visual element for the audience and helping to enhance the overall production.
Creating an Inclusive Pride Event
Accessibility and inclusion were an important part of Herts Pride 2026. Pride is about creating a space where everyone can come together, and that means making sure the event is accessible to people with different needs and abilities.
As part of our event production services, we supplied a dedicated 6m x 4m uncovered stage with skirt for the disabled viewing platform. This provided an elevated and dedicated viewing area, helping ensure that disabled attendees could enjoy the performances and atmosphere of the main stage.
For us, this is an important part of what event production should achieve. It is not simply about creating impressive stages, lighting and sound systems; it is about considering the experience of every person attending an event.
Community Stage
Alongside the main stage, Just Smile also provided production for the Herts Pride community stage.
The community stage featured a 4.5m x 4m festival stage with roof and steps, creating a dedicated space for community groups, performers and speakers to take part in the celebrations.
For sound, we supplied an EV front-of-house system featuring two tops, providing reliable audio coverage for the smaller stage and ensuring that performances and announcements could be heard clearly by the audience.

Being involved with Herts Pride is particularly meaningful to the Just Smile team. As an LGBTQ+ owned event production company, supporting Pride is something we are incredibly proud of.
Our involvement went beyond providing audio visual production and festival equipment hire. We were also proud to be one of the event sponsors, supporting an event that celebrates equality, diversity, community and inclusion.
