The brief was simple: a room dressed in white, a full starlight dance floor, draping, party lighting, a nightclub feel, great sound, and a gobo. On arrival, our client said it best: “Well, you’ve certainly delivered the brief!”
We were asked to provide lighting production for Pete’s 50th birthday party at Essendon Country Club in Hatfield. Our team supplied four state-of-the-art moving heads, two Martin Rush Wizards on plinths, a 4K sound system, two podiums for dancers, a starlight dance floor, and much more.
On Saturday afternoon, our technicians and stylists transformed the room into an Ibiza-inspired space in just a few hours. The setup included seven white starcloths, white-covered truss plinths and lighting stands, white and mirror dancing plinths, and white LED poseur tables. We added 24 wireless uplighters, along with a full lighting desk and technician, to create dynamic, stunning lighting effects throughout the evening.
DJ David kept the party going, mixing house tracks with party classics and a few surprises, ensuring the dance floor stayed full until 2 a.m.
