What a start to the year it’s been!
We’ve hit the ground running with a packed calendar of events, exciting new partnerships, and continued investment in the kit and people that make it all happen. And with 2026 already filling fast, the momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Event Profile: The Grand Showcase
In January, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Events by Natasha, The Intercontinental Park Lane and XS Showband to deliver the Grand Showcase, an event created to bring together leading suppliers, agents and venues for an unforgettable evening of networking and entertainment.
The showcase provided the perfect platform to highlight what can be achieved when creative event professionals come together.
We were proud to support the evening by providing full production, including staging, lighting and sound. Our team worked closely with all partners involved to ensure a seamless experience. The lighting helped transform the space throughout the evening, while our sound setup ensured clarity and impact for every moment.

Kit Investment Update
Allen & Heath DT168
We have added a number of Dante stage boxes to our equipment armoury plus we have added 64 channel Dante cards into all of our Allen & Heath desks.
This addition allows us to use a Dante network across various rooms where we need to run multiple audio feeds.
Pioneer XDJ-XZ
We have recently added this top of the range Pioneer DJ console to our stock that can be used both as a CDJ or a controller.
Connecting two further CDJs via CAT5 can also create a four-deck setup, so you’ll only need your USBs!
BeamZ BPL410
We’ve added these freestanding multi-head lights to our stock. Available in black or white, they’re perfect for highlighting food stations, place name tables and more.
They’re also completely wireless, running on battery power so there are no cables trailing across the floor.
Event Profile: The Event Production Show
We were proud to support the Main Stage at EPS, delivering a bold, high-impact setup that created the perfect backdrop for two full days of talks, seminars and live content.
The Just Smile team really enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new faces. It was a privilege to spend time in such great company, connecting with fellow professionals and sharing insights from across the industry.
Our own stand was built to stand out. With eye-catching screens, dynamic lighting and strong branding throughout, we created a space that drew people in and kept them there, bringing upbeat music, a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of conversation.
Across the two days, we gave out lots of chocolate, business cards and even some cheeky shots!
