We provided sound, lighting, and video production for a special event organised by Watford Football Club, inviting fans to come together for an evening celebrating the unforgettable 1998/99 season—the year the club secured promotion to the Premier League. The night was filled with memories and stories, with heartfelt tributes paid to the late Graham Taylor, whose influence and legacy were fondly remembered throughout the evening.
The Wembley 1999 Reunion Dinner took place at Shendish Manor in the Apsley Suite, an ideal setting that allowed over 300 guests to feel close to the action. Supporters had the opportunity to meet the heroes of that iconic season and share in the stories, characters, and special moments that made the 1998/99 campaign so memorable for the club.
For the event, we delivered a full D&B audiotechnik sound system with Sennheiser microphones, complemented by subtle event lighting. Video was distributed around the room using Decimator Design converters and a Blackmagic video switcher, feeding multiple screens throughout the venue. A 3m x 2m LED screen with a 3.9mm pixel pitch was positioned at the front of the room, providing clear visuals for all attendees. In addition, a live roving camera link allowed our camera operator to move around the room, relaying live images back to the screens and ensuring everyone felt part of the celebration.
