On 11th February, Just Smile was delighted to provide our Premier Wedding DJ Package at the breathtaking Medieval Old Palace, set within the historic Hatfield House estate. With echoes of banquets hosted by Henry VIII and striking architectural details throughout, this remarkable venue is one where our experience in subtly enhancing timeless spaces is especially valued.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom and their 150 guests enjoyed drinks in the Riding School while the Banqueting Hall was transformed for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Our team worked closely with Hatfield House staff to ensure a seamless transition from dining, to cake cutting, and into the first dance.
Using our online planning system, the couple shared their musical preferences and event timeline, helping the day run effortlessly from the first dance to the final song of the night. Joined by friends and family, the newlyweds truly danced the night away.
A unique highlight of the evening was a live brass band performing modern hits in the style of a Bavarian Oompah band, ensuring there was something for everyone. DJ John expertly blended the couple’s chosen tracks with crowd favourites and even led guests in a spontaneous singalong of the Lion King classic, Hakuna Matata.
