Just Smile provided professional Awards AV Production for the National Building & Construction Awards, delivering a complete technical setup designed to support the event’s presentations, speeches and award celebrations.
The event required a striking stage set, professional sound and atmospheric lighting, alongside carefully considered visual elements to ensure guests could clearly see and hear the action throughout the venue.
A Large Conference Set with Three Screens
At the heart of the event was a 16m wide x 3.5m high conference set, creating an impressive backdrop for the awards ceremony. The set incorporated three screens, providing a strong visual presence and allowing event content to be displayed clearly to the audience.
A 32-inch repeater screen was also positioned within the room, helping ensure important content remained visible to guests who may not have had a direct view of the main screens.
This combination of large-format screens and a repeater display helped create a professional and engaging visual experience throughout the awards ceremony.
Professional Sound for the Awards Ceremony
Clear and reliable audio is essential for any awards event, from host introductions and speeches to announcing winners and accepting awards. As part of our Awards AV Production, we supplied a professional NEXO sound package, consisting of 6 x PS8 speakers and 4 x LS400 subwoofers.
The system provided powerful, clear sound coverage across the venue, ensuring presenters and speakers could be heard throughout the event.
Using professional event audio equipment allowed our technical team to deliver consistent sound quality while managing the different requirements of an awards ceremony.
Atmospheric Awards Event Lighting
To complement the conference set and create the right atmosphere, we installed multiple wireless uplighters around the room. These provided ambient lighting throughout the venue while helping enhance the overall look of the event.
We also supplied moving head lights, adding dynamic effects to the production and helping draw attention towards the stage during key moments of the awards ceremony.
The combination of uplighting and moving head lighting created a polished and professional environment that complemented the event branding and stage design.
Red Aisle Runner
Adding to the presentation of the event was a 2m-wide red aisle runner, leading from the audience area towards the stage. The red carpet-style finish created a clear focal route towards the stage and added an extra touch of sophistication to the awards environment.
