Hertfordshire Conference AV Production
We were delighted to work with Sopwell House Hotel in St Albans, Hertfordshire, to provide Hertfordshire Conference AV Production for the Pride of Britain Hotels group conference. The two-day event featured three separate events, each requiring a different production setup to suit the occasion.
From an opulent networking evening and supplier showcase to a full-day conference and gala dinner with a live band, our team provided the AV, sound, lighting, staging and technical support required to transform the space throughout the two-day programme.
Conference AV Production at Sopwell House
The event began with an elegant evening featuring live music, supplier sampling and networking. To create the right atmosphere, we transformed the room with a black pleated drape, LED screen, stage, professional sound system and wireless uplighting.
We also supplied custom Gobos, adding branded lighting effects to the room and helping bring the visual elements of the event together.
The combination of staging, AV and atmospheric lighting created an impressive setting for guests to network, enjoy the live music and experience the supplier showcase.
Transforming the Space for the Conference
The following day, the room was transformed from an evening event into a professional conference environment.
The black draping was removed and the production setup was adapted to meet the requirements of the Pride of Britain Hotels group conference. With presentations and speakers taking centre stage, we provided the technical equipment needed to ensure the day’s content was delivered clearly and professionally.

Gala Dinner & Live Band Production
The second evening saw another transformation as the conference room became the setting for a gala dinner and live entertainment.
We provided an additional professional lighting package, alongside the sound system, stage monitors and other technical requirements needed to support a full live band.
The band performed in front of the LED screen, which had remained at the centre of the production throughout the event. The combination of the LED backdrop, stage and dynamic event lighting created an impressive setting for the final evening.
Our team ensured that the production could transition seamlessly from the daytime conference into the evening’s entertainment, without compromising on the quality of the AV or the guest experience.
